The hood of the sesha is at Tirupati, the tail at Srisailam and the middle is situated at Ahobilam. Sesha is the name of the king of serpents. The Nallamalai ranges south of river Krishna, down to Tirupati and are called as `Sesha Parvatha`. It is situated on the Nallamalai ranges near Nandyal Railway Station of Andhra Pradesh state. The Ahobilam is a famous temple in South India. In order to have the darshan of Lord Narasimha. Guide made our journey more easier and time saving. He knows 4 languages kannada, tamil, telegu and english. He asked us deep storeys about all the temples in a very good way. The guide name Narsaiah who was very good, polite by nature and knowledgeable. The path is very slippery in rainy season and stones are very slippery of upper Ahobilam which is very difficult without guide this is my personal experience. There are 4 temples situated in upper Ahobilam and the rest temples in lower Ahobilam. So we took a Guide to complete the journey of Navnarsimha temples because without guide it couldn't be possible for us.
The Lord here appears in his fierce aspect, called Ugra Narasimha, who is the presiding deity of the temple and is known as Ahobila Nrisimha Swamy. Ahobilam is one of the most powerfull god's Lord Narasimha Swami Temple which is located in Kurnool district its near to Nandayal 40 km approximately.
